When you access the Web sites property of We Talk Insurance including all information, materials, texts, illustrations, graphics, and images (the "Sites"), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with the agreement regarding the use of these Sites (the "Agreement"), the terms and conditions of which are described below, as well as at other locations on these Sites.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify the terms and conditions at any time without notice. Such modifications are effective immediately upon posting, which is why we strongly recommend that you revisit these terms and conditions periodically. Your continued use of these Sites will be deemed your conclusive acceptance of any modification and you agree to be bound by such modifications.

These terms and conditions are of general application and shall be read together with and as supplementary to any disclaimer, term or condition posted on these Sites. We Talk Insurance cannot guarantee the availability of the Sites and cannot be held responsible if problems arise during its use.

We Talk Insurance believes that all information displayed in the Sites is accurate, but cannot be held liable for the accuracy of information available that is provided by third parties.

The Sites are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and its legal notices are made in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario. Any reference in our Sites to ‘’the law’’ refers to the laws of the province of Ontario. All disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with the Sites shall be submitted to and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Ontario. In the event of any suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or in connection with these Sites, the courts of the province of Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction.

All the information on insurance products contained in these Sites can only be used in Canada.

You may obtain a full refund of your online insurance purchase (including the premium, taxes and fees) and training fees provided your refund request is made before the effective date of your policy.

However, if you wish to request a refund after the effective date of the policy, you must send us a signed written notice confirming the date of termination of your insurance policy. The premium refund will be calculated according to the short-term cancellation table applicable to your insurance policy. Insurance policy issuance fees are not refundable.

The information we collect depends on the insurance products you apply for and buy, the services you have access to and use, the payment method you use, and the way you communicate with us. We collect only the information necessary for the purpose of your file, in compliance with the applicable law.

We Talk Insurance cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information exchanged by email.

i) Information you disclose to us

We collect personal information from you when you inquire about our insurance policies, request a quote, apply for insurance, make a payment, or file a claim under your insurance policy. This information includes personal information such as your name, contact information, marital status, and payment or banking information.

ii) Information collected from third parties

We also collect information from several third parties, where permitted by law. These include government agencies, consumer reporting agencies, and other third parties who can provide information about or services related to you. When we do so, we do it with your consent, or otherwise confirm the third party lawfully collected the information and can share it with us.

iii) Calls, online chats, and other communications

We may record calls, online chats, and other communications between us to ensure quality customer service, confirm our discussions and your instructions, resolve complaints, and train our staff. If you do not want your communications recorded, you can do business with us by visiting one of our offices, or by writing or emailing us.

iv) Cookies, web beacons and other technologies

We may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to identify you on our website, to gather information about how you use our website, and to enable our and third-party web-based services. When we do so, we do it in compliance with the applicable laws.
